If you play Ninelives, zoom in as much as you can and you will be in a first person perspective. As I play FPS most of the time, playing the game from a first person perspective is so much better than from 3rd person. The problem here is that the character's vision can only be moved up, down, or diagonally with the use of the mouse. This means whenever I go up a hill and need to move my vision up, I have to switch my hand from the keyboard to my mouse. That is super annoying. |

I think you're totally right. Not being able to look 90 degrees up and down is painful. Its especially bad when you're swimming trying to look up above ground level. |

This is designed for third person perspective game basically, and the first person view is for looking around without your own body, not designed for moving or any other actions. |

I agree - a couple of times entering the raptor cave I've gone underwater trying to get to the island and there's no way up. But this is an Alpha program and we should expect bugs 'cos we're playing to help SmokymonkeyS debug the game :) |
