Staffs should have wau better stats and not be usefull for in-hand basic atack damage, but he is bad in both in comparison with mystic root club for example, that atacks faster and give to you better in general stats (like mana).
Staffs should get big number like 60/80% of damage increase, 60+ mana or %of mana, more projectile distance, and etc...
One of my ideias is to put some skills in the staffs allowing more versatile builds independent on the class, the skills i'm mentioning should be completely different for what we have in the characters, i'll give some ideias in base of what we have now in the game as a recycle to have more content.
1: summoning scarecrows: they could applie fear, shocking in aoe damage area, atract enemies, peppo throwing, healing, etc... giving the options to summon we could also summon fromn the staffs skeletons, water creatures, etc...
2: invisibility, enemy detection, bug swarm (utilizing the bugs already in the game for aoe damage), random creatue of the world summoning, etc...
Also staffs could buffs individual mage abilities like spark for example. |
